Oh dear! I'm not doing very well with keeping "Chitchat" up to date, am I?Had a lovely time with Ann and Noel. Can't use them as an excuse any more as they left a week ago but there you are, life passes at a great rate without much being achieved.
Pellet burning stove is now installed and I've been busy with the start of the new season's activities for the association. I've finally admitted defeat with Spanish as I like regular obligations less and less. Silly really, as we've finally found a real teacher to take the workshop.
Of course, I've been out and about visiting, going to a concert, eating, drinking and being merry as this photo of the Sunday morning coffee get-together shows. At one point there were 14 of us making our presence felt as we soaked up the the autumn sunshine. Just as well, it pourred with rain all the next day!
Don't hold you're breath for any progress on the blog as I'm getting ready to host a German couple who are coming to the village with a mandoline orchestra for a week. So, fingers crossed for good weather and enough energy to keep up with all the things laid on.
