This morning Christian and Michel headed up into the mountains to be on duty in the Mairie there. One or two people popped in to say "hello" but there were no problems to solve. At lunch time Joëlle and I joined them at the local auberge where the menu, though good, never seems to change much. 
We've been thinking a lot about our friends in Burma as we watch the terrible pictures of the devastation there. How these people suffer.
