Anne telephoned out of the blue last weekend and invited us up to have lunch with her and Peter. It must be over two years since we last saw them so there was lots to catch up with. Came back to the village where there was a wee apéritif at the Mairie for the winners of a garden/window boxes in bloom competition which although I didn"t participate in, I went along and took a few photos, none of which was up to much. in the absence of any higher-ranking members of the council, Christian was the one who gave the welcome and well done speech.

Catching Up
Anne telephoned out of the blue last weekend and invited us up to have lunch with her and Peter. It must be over two years since we last saw them so there was lots to catch up with.
