First of all the vernissage of the local painting class’s output which as you can imagine showed a wide variance of talent. Of course, there were lots of family and friends of the painters in attendance and as always the aperitif provided by the Mairie was well augmented with homemade canapés. Wouldn’t it be just the thing, we couldn’t stay too long as it was our street’s neighbourhood party. This year it was on an Italian theme so stripy teeshirts were in evidence as pasta salad, tiramisu and a Napalese washing line!

Village Festivities
