Surprised
to wake up earlier than usual after yesterday's indulgence. Lingered and then
organised drinks for Michel and Linde. Joined Ann and Terry for lunch of Beef
Wellington. Passed a quiet but pleasant afternoon and was home with 5 minutes
to spare before the curfew.
Weather: 7°,
blue sky and strong winds of 45km/h
26.12.20:
Suffice it to say that I bypassed breakfast and
went straight from bed to lunch. Still very windy so stayed close to the fire,
watched tv, ate chocolate and got around to painting the door decorations made
from loo rolls. Don't ask .... the photo and a bit of imagination is enough.
Pity my artistic talents weren't up to the job. Consoled myself with a shrug of
the shoulders and a mug of the mulled wine I brewed up a couple of days ago.
