No Thérèse this week so I rolled up my sleeves and whizzed around with the vacuum cleaner, mop and duster in readiness for Christmas. André and Nany came in for an apéritif before we all went to the restaurant to clebrate "révillion" which is the main meal here rather than Christmas day itself. The main course was hare with pieces of foie gras. To our surprise Nany and André didn't come in afterwards to see in Christmas and drink champagne. Maybe, they wanted to open their presents at midnight as is the tradition. As we don't give presents, we just went to bed and saved the champagne for tomorrow!
