Christian made an early start this morning to drive Juste to Marseilles to collect his 86 year old Mum so that his sister can have a break from caring for her. Joséphine and I were at the village hall with a bottle stall while all around there was afternoon tea, raffles of various kinds, Catalan goodies, sale of toys, kids clothes, books. You can imagine the din accompanied in the background by live music. Christian arrived home at the end of the afternoon and we all ate at Juste and Joséphine’s. La Mama, who only really speaks Spanish was delightful but very confused, so it’s going to be a full time job.
