A Road well Travelled

For the 3^rd time in a week, Christian travelled the road to Nimes. Yesterday we were visiting Jean-Louis and Aimée, friends of Christian’s since his early expat days. Aimée is a great cook and she did us proud, experimenting with a verrine starter and dessert. A really nice way to present food. Despite or maybe because of a well lubricated lunch, we had a walk in the nearby woods before it became too dark and the evening took care of itself.

Left after breakfast and had a trouble free journey home, even managing to do a bit of food shopping on the way. There was even time after our late lunch for Christian to go to the Mairie and for me to deliver the Association's latest bulletin.
