We were up and into the square for 7.30am ready to set up for the Christmas market and fortunately the weather was mild. Maggie and I were there all day selling mulled wine for the Association and the leftover jewellery and scarves from last week. As all these had been donated, the proceeds will go to a charity. We’ve one in mind and are determined that the Committee will say “yes”. Had lunch at the bar which was mediocre to say the least and more expensive than usual ….. will we ever learn?Then once everything was packed up we scurried off to the church for a Christmas concert which was inevitably followed by an aperitif at the village hall.
