European Community

Spanish this morning and still progress is slow. I find myself pronouncing Spanish words in the French way whereas if I used English it would be nearer. A breakthrough will come one day.
This afternoon I attended a cookery workshop chez Gaby who had us making traditional biscuits from Alsace. Sun streaming through the window and lovely cinnamon smells in a warm kitchen. We ate freshly baked biscuits and even had a bag to take home. What joy and afternoon tea for the next few days is taken care of!
