Sant Jordi, St George's day, Shakespeare's birthday and the death of Cervantes, April 23rd is a significant date on the calenadr. Here, the Association organised a simple celebration in front of the Mairie. In keeping with the Catalan tradition, there were roses and books. In addition, there were troubadours, a children's story corner, an exhibition of paintings on a rose/book theme, sardanes, calligraphie, the telling of the legend, tea and coffee.
The weather gods were with us and it was that sunny people were searching for shade. It all ended with an apéritif and very tired feet. By way of winding down we went to the bar and had a large salad before going home to bed.
