Having Our Cake

It had been our plan to go to the Haricot Bean Festival in Santa Pau, Catalunya South with Jean and Françoise as we had last year but the weather was dull and it was damp underfoot. The unanimous decision was to give it a miss. Spent most of the day in front of either the telly or the computer. Bought a new duvet after quite a lot of searching.
We met up with Jean and Françoise this evening, however, at Juste and Joséphine's for an apéritif dinatoire and a homemade "galette des rois". Yes, another one. Michel and Sylvie were also invited. I took Delia's coffee cake as it's Joséphine's favourite and it was pleasing to see people coming back for seconds. It's light, fluffy and very tasty. Give it ago, why don't you.
