Bejeezus (And to Be Shure)

If you've been following this blog, you'll know that we normally go to the bar to toast St Pat with Linde and sadly it was always in scotch as Jean-Louis never had any whiskey. This time we encouraged him to mark the day properly with a meal and some music and lo and behold, he did. Lizzie, Patrick, Jacques and Ade provided traditional music, there was a meal with Irish overtones, Guinness, Paddy's and the bar was decked out with shamrocks and lepraucauns. We made up a table with Nany, André, Michèle, Henri and Martine after we'd had an an apéro chez nous. The opposition were there too but this time we were outside and they were inside. Yes, it was warm enough to eat out and we only went inside about 10pm.
Yet again, I have to remark about the richness of You Tube .... you name it, it's there. Of course there was not only  loads of Irish music which I was actually looking for  but also a couple of films that I've earmarked for later on. One about  Irish Brigadistas in the Spainish Civil War and one about two kids under the care of the church being shipped out of Liverpool to the Commonwealth.
On a more fun note heres a link to a popular French musical tribute to Conemara. Catchy, n'est-ce pas?
