As you will know by now from reading " Chichat", though probably not remembered, today is Christian's feast day. It started ordinarily enough with a trip to the market where we were joined at apéritif time by Joséphine, her youngest daughter and her charming Peruvian boyfriend. The sun was shining so it was pleasurable to linger and chat; rather too long as Juste had to telephone to chivvy folk up to come and eat lunch. We were also included which was great, not only because we ate well but also because plans to visit Peru began to take shape with every glass we drank! Here's Juste showing off his radishes. Pretty impressive, n'est-ce pas?Since we couldn't not but return the hospitality, they came down for apéritifs in the evening. Got through 3½bottles of champagne and a Bordeaux Grand Cru (1989). OK, OTT!
