Welcome to all of you out there who might be interested to know about life chez nous. Hopefully, some of you will have happy memories of the house and the village and for those of our friends who have not yet made it over here, perhaps this blog will show them what they are missing! Click on the photos to enlarge them and please feel free to comment. A first name would be great so we're not left wondering who "anonymous" is! À bientôt et bonne navigation!

Day Trippers
A day out to Arles (nearly 3 hours away) which was nothing like the Beatles song. 40 over 60’s on a bus which left the village at 7am. Can’t complain, the sun was shining and we didn’t lose anyone though Christian did lose a tooth. The morning consisted of an exhibition of all things Provencal. There was some lovely stuff but I contented myself with a couple of post cards and a bit of wine tasting. Wouldn’t you know the stand which we sat at for a glass of wine and canapés was run by a Brit who has a couple of vinyards around Avignon. After lunch in an Italian sort of restaurant called "Le Stradavarius" which was actually très correct as the French would say, the afternoon consisted of sightseeing in the old town.
