On the domestic front, the summer clothes have been replaced in the wardrobe by the winter ones, a pile of never-worn-for ages clothes put by for the Red Cross and moth ravaged woollies relegated to the bin. I know that all of this stuff is not very interesting but you dear readers should know that it's not all apéritifs and long lunches! Sometimes life is even stressful; like at the moment with a horrible 'spat' going on with some of the committee members and I thought I'd left all that kind of team malfunctioning stuff behind. Shouldn't have been so naive I suppose, personalities and human nature being what they are. Though, not everywhere ... we watched a superb documentary the other night about a North Vietnamese ethinic group called the Lolo Noir who's way of life, though simple and hard is harmonious. Beautiful people with beautiful smiles and the most magnificent scenery all around them. It seems a road and electricity and therefore TV should be coming through so who knows what change that will bring.
The opening of the exhibition went well this evening being well attended despite the heavy rain. Ate in the bar afterwards and due to a couple's curiosity about the tee shirts that we were wearing, they're going to sign up and who knows perhaps we'll get another sponsorship out of it.
