Male Bonding over Food

2.6.14:

Today we were invited out for lunch al fresco - a return match with Eamon and Liz who gave us tapas and then lemon chicken, Époisses (my favourite cheese) that needed to be eaten with a spoon. Of course, there were generous helpings of cava, red and white wine.

1.6.14:

Today was another relatively quiet day. Went for a coffe to the bar and were joined by Anne who wanted to talk about the association which was pretty boring for Mary. In the evening Jean-Jacques, Françoise and Jean came for an apéritif dinatoire over which we looked at our Scotland photos. Françoise, in her inimitable fashion, commentated that the ones that I'd taken three years ago with another camera were much clearer. trouble is she's right!
